{"id":33,"date":"2019-01-01T01:16:09","date_gmt":"2019-01-01T06:16:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.vorpalunicorn.com\/?p=33"},"modified":"2019-01-01T01:16:09","modified_gmt":"2019-01-01T06:16:09","slug":"and-the-rain-falls","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vorpalunicorn.com\/?p=33","title":{"rendered":"And the rain falls"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>I&#8217;m starting the new year sitting in the dark, Skittles asleep beside me on the bed, watching <em>Hercules<\/em> and listening to the rain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The past couple years have been something of a roller coaster, for a large variety of reasons that I&#8217;m not going into for just as many reasons, but suffice to say that I&#8217;ve done what I always do when I grow quiet&#8211;I watch and I listen and I learn.
